Beatrice's Goat

Beatrice's Goat is a beautifully illustrated book written by Page McBrier. Although the story was a little long and complex for my three-year-old, he loved the illustrations!

The story takes place in Uganda and shares how a gift of a goat makes a life-changing difference in the life of Beatrice and her family. Not only is this a heartwarming story, but it reveals the struggles faced by children in Uganda and the cost of an education.

The story also shows how the simple gift of a animal like a goat can change the entire circumstance of a family! This book not only was an enjoyable read, but is motivational for making a difference in the lives of children in third world countries!
