IDAW 2016

Last year, SNH was privileged to attending International Deaf Awareness Week (IDAW), thanks to the gifts of caring donors. SNH is hoping to send SNH assisted children who are deaf along with their caregivers to IDAW in the Lira municipality of northern Uganda.

In order to send the two children, a caretaker for each child, and two SNH staff members to guide the children and caretakers, a total of $300 US or 900,000 UGX is needed. This amount will cover their accommodations for the week.

School Fundraiser!

It has been a while since we updated the blog, but I have been selling handcrafts (made by Sherinah) to support the SNH children!

We would like to help those SNH children who are unable to pay for their school supplies! We also have a few medical needs and miscellaneous needs (i.e. transportation for the SNH staff to check in on the kids, food for one of the children who was abandoned by her parents with her three siblings, and pig feed).

The goal is to raise $300, where $150 will go towards the school supplies for 15 children, $50 to medical needs, and the remaining $100 towards the miscellaneous needs.

If 30 people can donate $10 each, these needs will be funded! Or you could purchase a handcraft and support SNH as well! Donations can be sent via Western Union and the instructions are here. For further questions, email Sherinah at sherinahnewhope@gmail.com

Christmas Party 2015

Thanks to all our donors, SNH raised all the money for the Christmas party! We wanted to share photos of the event with all our supporters. Look at the joy you brought to the faces of these kids and their families!

Thank you again for your support of SNH in 2015! We look forward to seeing how God leads SNH in 2016 and how SNH will be able to bless the families and kids in the ministry.
