Meet Uganda

Uganda is a country in eastern Africa. It is landlocked, surrounded by Kenya, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania and Lake Victoria!

Uganda's full name is Republic of Uganda and it is 91,135 square miles! That means that Uganda is about the same size as the state of Oregon. The capital of Uganda is Kampala. And Uganda's population is 34,612,250. Here is a closer map:

If you would like to review what you've learned about Uganda so far, check out this activity page from Activity Village!

Maps are from World Atlas and Uganda statistics from Time for Kids.
