We would like to wish Benjamin a very happy 7th birthday!

Benjamin was born normal and lived a normal life until he fell from a tree at 4-years-old. After the fall, he was left physically disabled. Benjamin finds it difficult to move and has spent five or more months out of school due to the pain he experiences in his joints. When he is able to, Benjamin attends primary 4 where his performance is above average. He lives with his parents and his father works as a security guard. Due to his pain, Benjamin is unable to attend Sunday School, but he enjoys learning from the Bible from his parents. He helps in his home by fetching water and firewood and cleaning the house and compound.

Marion was born physically disabled. She lives with her mother. Currently Marion is enrolled in nursery class where her performance is average, but her mother doesn't have finances to continue supporting Marion's education and Marion may need to quit school. Marion helps her mother in the garden and by cleaning the compound.

Harriet was born crippled in one leg. She lives with her mother who works as a peasant farmer. Harriet's mother doesn't have the finances to support Harriet's education. Harriet enjoys Sunday School and attending church. And Harriet helps in her home by gardening, fetching water and firewood, and looking over her younger siblings when her mother is not home.

Dorcas was born disabled; her fingers and toes are joined together, she has a mental illness and she is unable to speak with ease. Dorcas' parents left her in the care of her grandmother because of her disabilities. Dorcas is attending school and is in primary 4. Her class performance is poor due to the lack of fund to send her to a special needs school. Dorcas enjoys Sunday School and she helps her grandmother by fetching water and firewood and helping in the kitchen.

Ivan was born normal until 6 months of age when he became sick with a high fever which resulted in physical disability. Ivan is able to hear but unable to speak, he has a mental disability and he is unable to move on his own. Ivan lives with his grandmother since he was abandoned by his parents at age 2. Ivan's grandmother often takes him to church to be prayed for.
